After our wedding, we enjoyed relaxing with family for most of June. In July we attended Faith Camp West in Spangle, WA. Then we spent a little over two weeks at Young Disciple Youth Bible Camp making camp memories videos and a couple other videos on the side. (If you want to see them, here’s the link: https://vimeo.com/album/5370323) One of the blessings from Faith Camp, in addition to the inspiration of hearing other missionaries share, was that God provided most of the money that we needed (the rest came shortly thereafter) to get the equipment that Hannah needed to be able to help shoot video and edit. Blessings continued as an internet provider went out of his way to get one of the two cameras he had in stock to us while we were filming the camp.
We have completed a video about the F5 Challenge Center in Bangkok. God has led Brian and Jessica Atwood to open a business in Bangkok with the goal of connecting with young people from the nearby university and showing them the joy of walking with Jesus. They’ve already opened the climbing wall, and the café and pizzeria will be opening soon, Lord willing! Here’s the video: https://vimeo.com/277217387
Our original date to fly back to Thailand is less than a week away. God had other things in mind, though, so we will be spending about a month-and-a-half at the Jesus for Asia office in TN, helping with a big editing project. We will be there for Faith Camp East and then fly to Thailand on October 17.
