MaxLife, Online Evangelism

Greetings, White Salmon Family.

During this Covid-19 pandemic, we have been trying to do our part to keep our community safe. But that doesn't mean we can't continue our mission as a church. In fact it seems like God has led us down this path to gain new ways to share the good news with more people. Our weekly live streaming at Riverside is reaching over 400 people each week. I know that there are many who are watching our YouTube channel here in White Salmon. So even though we are “in," we still can be “out”! The Oregon Conference is launching a fall outreach project through the internet. It is called Max Life Events. https://maxlifeevents.com

This will give us a means to share Jesus in a larger way. I know that the communication team will work on promoting this. But most importantly, we need you to share these events on your social media. We want to spread this like the “Leaves of Autumn.” We have already been posting the promotional clips of the first event with John Boston that you can share. We also will have invitation cards you can share with your neighbors and friends. There are three speakers this fall from now until November.

John Boston

Pre-Event: "Leading from your Pain" (NOW)

Main Event: "Your Story: Beyond your Pain" (September 11)

Ritchie Halverson

Main Event: “Unchained: Hope and Healing from Addiction" (Oct. 9-18)

David Machado

Two Pre-Events: "Rising above Abuse: My Story" (Coming in September) and "Slaying the Pornography Dragon" (Coming in September)

Main Event: "Revelation of Love" (Starting October 23)

We will see if the last series going into November can be shown at the church. We are close to the time for Jesus to come. Now is the time to pull out all the stops. When this pandemic is all over, people who have watched these events will need a church family to encourage them. So, we are counting on you to get the word out and see what God can do with all this technology that He has given us.

Sharing the good news!

Pastor Merrill Caviness
